What is Who's Down Today?

Who's Down Today is an independent outage tracker. Public pages show already-calculated status from monitoring workers, official status feeds, and user reports. We are not affiliated with the companies we monitor.

How do you know if a service is down?

We combine official public status APIs or feeds where they exist with independent HTTP checks. A single failed probe, geo block, or HTTP 403 is not treated as a confirmed global outage. Optional tools (website checker, DNS lookup, IP lookup) run on demand and are not stored status.

Does opening a status page check the service live?

No. Opening a Who's Down Today status page reads stored results. Optional tools such as Check any website and DNS lookup run an on-demand query; those one-off results are not stored as service status.

Is a service down for everyone or just me?

If this site shows operational, the problem is often local (DNS, VPN, ISP, browser, or device). If we show degraded or down, some users may still be unaffected because many incidents are regional or feature-specific.
